The Argentine Open Championship, first played in 1893, is
the fifth-oldest polo competition in the world. The event,
held at Campo Argentino de Polo en Palermo, is one of the
highlights of the polo calendar, an exciting spectacle and
an unmissable occasion for people-watching.

Every March, the rhythms of tango take over the streets of
Buenos Aires for the ten - day tango festival. Everyone who's
anyone in the world of tango performs for the adoring public,
and free dancing displays featuring world renowned artists
are held at venues all over the city.

Gay Pride in Buenos Aires is usually held on the first weekend
of November, to mark the formation of the first-ever gay group
in Buenos Aires in 1969.
It's an event which carries more of a political statement
than many of the other Pride marches around the world.
